The IND’s Court Street station, opened in 1936, is now the site of the New York Transit Museum. This station was the western end of a shuttle service—the HH local line—to the Hoyt-Schermerhorn Street station three blocks away (which remains a stop on the A, C, and G lines). The Court Street station was closed in 1946 due to low passenger use and the availability of many nearby stations.
